Ruth Cartwright Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Ursula Schilling and I have created this fund to raise money for the grandsons of my late friend Ruth Cartwright. Ruth passed unexpectedly on October 15th, 2022 leaving behind her daughter and two grandsons whom she loved deeply. Ruth usually worked check stand #3 at the Moraga Safeway across from the self-check-out stands. Always cheerful even at 5 in the morning, she checked out her customers with marvelous efficiency and knew many of her customers by name. She utilized her sense of humor and ready wit to make things go smoothly. She continues to be missed by her coworkers and customers. The funds will go toward paying off some of Ruth's outstanding bills and supporting her grandsons.
