Ruth Morgan

My name is Jason. I am raising funds for my son Benjamin and his wife Maddie. They have had a ridiculously painful past 16 months. First, his wife miscarried. Then, after a very anxiety induced second pregnancy, their daughter (and only child), Ruth (our granddaughter) , was born about 5 weeks ago.

Benjamin works night shift at a convenience store to support his family and struggles to make ends meet. He came home this morning, after working his night shift, to hold his precious baby girl. They fed her and put her down for a nap.

When they went to get Ruth up from her nap she was found unresponsive and she was not breathing. My son had to do CPR on her while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Baby Ruth did not make it. Her official cause of death is unknown at this time but it is believed to be SIDS. Everyone is in shock and, as you can imagine, my son is barely unable to function.

I am asking for the kindness and generosity of others to help pay for the funeral expenses and for a little of money so my son can take off of work for the next couple of days, to week, so that he can be there to support his wife and have an opportunity to grieve. He is scheduled to return to work again tonight and he is worried about being able to pay his bills. This is breaking our hearts.
