Remembering Steve

In memory of Steve, a number of his friends will be undertaking long distance cycle rides in his honour and to raise money for the incredible Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Steve sadly passed away in December 2022 from bowel cancer, and The Royal Marsden was where he received his treatment. The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. The centre ensures they're nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

On 9th September 2023, Steve's university friends will be cycling from Bristol, the city where they spent 3 fantastic years together, to his hometown of Reading. To continue to honour they're beloved friend, the same group of friends will undertake a longer cycle in April 2024, riding from Bristol to Paris - where Steve used to live and work.
