West Green Primary School - Crawley

West Green Primary School shared a letter with students' parents on 22 nd March 2023 explaining the financial challenges they are facing. Following this, we contacted Mr Hodgson, West Green Primary School's Headteacher, and requested permission to

launch this campaign to raise funds to help.

We believe that if the community is active in helping out, it can make a difference to our local school. By donating, or simply sharing, you can support the school to keep providing an excellent education for all our children during this very difficult financial period. We would like to acknowledge the hard work that the school staff do and ensure that Mr Hodgson and his team have the financial support they

need to continue to ensure the future of our community.

Our initial goal is to raise funds for all the things the school are currently having to cut from their budget. These are the things that can make a difference in children’s experience in school, such as hatching chicks in Reception class, or having special days and visitors in school. If we go beyond this, we would like to raise enough money to add an additional hard-surface playground to the front of the school, providing some much-needed space for children at break and lunchtime.
