Fundraising for Darrel Parry

My friends and I were devastated to learn that our ex-teammate and dear friend, Darrel Parry, was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, the bleak prognosis suggesting he only has a few months to live. Given Darrel’s lifelong fighting spirit, we know he will battle hard for much longer and live each day to the fullest. Having made Yellowknife his home for almost three decades, Darrel is now living in Grande Prairie with his wife Tina and two daughters, Chelsey and Angela. Considered everybody’s best friend and always there to lend a helping hand, Darrel’s athleticism, competitive spirit, and friendly disposition helped him secure a place in our hearts while bringing home many championships to the north. It also earned him countless friends on the ball diamond and while representing various hockey teams on the local, territorial, and national levels, most notably as a member of the Weaver & Devore Marauders.
