Rwandan Twa Children Education Fund

Hello, I am Jessica Klingensmith, one of the co- founders of Rwanda Sustainable Families (RSF). As RSF transferred the care of the Twa Education Fund to APP ( African Peace Partners), unfortunately our funds have run out.

I plan to continue to raise funds through APP with the gracious support from Jim Mustin, who is the founder of APP. Damas (RSF education program manager) will continue to run the education program on the ground in Rwanda. All funds raised will support the nursery, primary and secondary education for our Twa children in Gisenyi.

For nursery and primary school students, the funds will go towards feeding the children daily, school uniforms, shoes, socks, and all supplies. If available, funds will pay for private tutoring for the at risk primary school children. This will support over 80 children total per year.

Additionally, we are supporting 5 Twa Children in Secondary school. I have hopes to add more if funds allow in the future. We provide room and board, tuition, school supplies and more for the secondary school students. This has provided these children a hope for a better life with continued education.
