Hi. We are reaching out to all of you because Diana and her family are urgently in need of our help. You may remember that Diana had her first battle with cancer when she was thirteen. After receiving treatment, she remained cancer free for 23 years, before this past year, when she began having symptoms of tumors in her neck and head. She has spent this past year going back and forth between doctors without knowing what was wrong. After many tests and consultations, Diana was finally diagnosed this past August with Stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma - a rare soft tissue cancer. The cancer originated in her bones, but has spread throughout her body and organs. She has begun a treatment plan that includes intensive chemotherapy that requires hospitalization for days at a time.
As you can imagine, this has been a difficult time for Diana and her family, both emotionally and financially. We are reaching out to everyone to help Diana in her time of need. Diana has always been a strong woman of faith, has supported and helped many in our family, and now we have the opportunity to show her how much she means to us and support her during her time of need. Diana has taken a leave of absence from work in order to undergo her treatment. This has put a strain on her family's financial stability as they now have gone down to a single income, with an increase in bills.
We are asking for donations to help Diana and her family. This can come in the form of a reoccurring or a one-time donation. The money collected will be put towards paying her bills and other costs that are incurred during this type of treatment. Please know that anything truly helps and is genuinely appreciated.
Other ways you can support Diana and her family can be through the sending of positive messages via text or mail and your prayers are always needed. Diana is a private person and we ask that the information regarding her illness remain off of social media. We will update Diana's journey regularly.
Thank you for supporting Diana and her family. We know that during a trying time like this, we need to lean on family, and most importantly lean on our faith.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know what plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"
