Update there's alot of people asking if there's still this go fund me account so they can send donations through online so I adjusted the goal there's still no income coming in. Waiting for ssi or disability takes time apparently. Going into month 3 it's getting worrysome all over again. Dad's getting movement in his left side and physical therapy to work on his walking soon! Getting back to work isn't an option but we would love to get him driving again to meet up with friends real soon.
Dad has amazing friends donating time and money for the wheelchair/easy access home. Mom cannot work because dad needs full time care. I'm helping with what I can with bills and family is pitching in as much as possible also. Any
On May 13th my whole family has been turned upside down.. Like a horrible tornado hit us hard. At hindsight we thought it'll be OK he will be fine.. But it didn't turn out fine. My dad Wilbur Bubba Benoit is a 64 year young man who owned a A/C repair shop since the 90s, he loves his business and customers like family. He's done lots of jobs for no charge because he learned to love his people. He's a tough, straight up man and always got the job done no matter how hard it was. May 13th he had a stroke, his left side is paralized, had a feeding tube in his stomach because he wasn't able to swallow, he was sent home at almost 2 weeks after with palliative care with hospice. He's able to eat slowly now. His heart isn't healthy.. I left my home and little family to help care for him with mom. I'm able to take 2 weeks off to help them. Mom isn't able to work because it takes us two. If my dad was 100% he'd kill me for doing this go fund me but he isn't 100% he remembers everything from when he was 6 to the day he had the stroke... But cannot remember that mom ran to town. I'm worried about mom just as I am dad. Financially. They flew him to a hospital that wasn't in their network, so we are facing those medical bills along with unpaid bills around the house. The hospital bills are far more than this amount but I just want to release all the burdens of at least some bills for mom. We owe alot more but I know this isn't a good time financially for alot if people. Thank you to everyone that prays and donates.
