Querida Familia!

Mi nombre es FRANCISCO ORDONEZ y hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes la historia de una mujer valiente, una madre ejemplar y una guerrera incansable: Delmi Ordoñez, de 47 años, originaria de Guatemala y madre soltera de cuatro hijos.

Desde el año 2016, Delmi ha estado luchando contra una enfermedad silenciosa y devastadora: la enfermedad renal terminal (ESRD), la última etapa de la insuficiencia renal. En este momento, su condición es crítica y el daño a sus riñones es irreversible Y Requiere medicamentos costosos y cuidados las 24 horas del día. Lamentablemente, su seguro no cubre los cuidados paliativos que necesita para vivir con dignidad.

En enero de 2024, los médicos le dieron solo unos días de vida, pero gracias a la fe, las oraciones y el apoyo incondicional de su familia y comunidad, hermanos en cristo sigue con nosotros. Un verdadero milagro de Dios.

En su última hospitalización/Dialysis que fue el dia Viernes 4 de Julio 7/4/2025 los médicos informaron a la familia que no hay nada más que puedan hacer médicamente, y les pidieron prepararse para lo inevitable. Desde el dia Domingo 6 De Julio ella Tomo la decision de que sea Nuestro Dios que tome el control de su vida y hasate el dia de hoy Julio 13 Hemos estado en Vela ya que cada segundo, cada minuto cada hora su respiraacion. y su palpitar de su corazon a mermado constalte mente. Pero aún queda algo muy importante por hacer: darle amor, dignidad, y la oportunidad de vivir cada día con el cuidado que merece.

Dear Family.

My name is FRANCISCO ORDONEZ, and today I'm here to share with you the story of a brave woman, an exemplary mother, and a tireless warrior: Delmi Ordoñez, 47, originally from Guatemala and a single mother of four kids.

Since 2016, Delmi has been battling a silent and devastating disease: end-stage renal disease (ESRD), the final stage of kidney failure. Currently, her condition is critical, with irreversible damage to her kidneys. She requires expensive medications and 24-hour care. Unfortunately, her insurance does not cover the palliative care she needs to live with dignity.

In January 2024, doctors gave him only a few days to live, but thanks to the faith, prayers, and unconditional support of his family and community, she remains with us. A true miracle of God

During her last hospitalization/dialysis, which was on Friday, July 4th, 2025, the doctors informed the family that there was nothing more they could do medically, and asked them to prepare for the inevitable. Since Sunday, July 6th, she made the decision to let God take control of her life, and until today, July 13th, we have been on guard since every second, every minute, every hour, her breathing and her heartbeat have steadily diminished. But there is still something very important to do: give her love, dignity, and the opportunity to live each day with the care she deserves.
