“$1 will make a difference everyone.
Delmi Ordoñez is originally from Guatemala; she is 46 years old and single loving mom of 4 kids. Delmi is the sister of 2 brothers (residing in MD) and 3 sisters (residing in country of Origen), and mother age of 68.
Delmi is suffering from End-stage Renal Disease (ESRD) is the final stage of kidney disease, mostly known as kidney failure. This disease began in 2016, she is in the stage where the kidney damage can’t be reversed. She has been admitted to the hospital many times, at the last hospitalization, the family was informed that there was nothing more they could do for her, that she was terminal and for them to be strong and just to wait for her time to come. To keep her alive, she must do dialysis 3 times a week, expensive medicine and 24/7 care.
Unfortunately, her insurance doesn’t cover hospice care and the family doesn’t have the resources to cover such expenses. Delmi has 2 brothers, 2 nephews and other family members who are doing the best that they can to assist their sister in every way possible however like any other hard-working American, they also have their own families to support.
The 2 brothers are struggling to cover some of the expenses such as the expensive medicine, adult diapers, wipes, toiletries, meals, and caregiver services. Delmi requires 24/7 care because she gets fatigue, weak, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, weak bones, high risk of bone fractures. She needs someone to feed her, clean her up, sponge bath, take her to dialysis 3 times a week.
Delmi is going through a tough time right now and would be grateful if you could keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. With a humble heart, we are asking for donations, we strongly believe that “$1 will make a difference”.
