Help Dr Rim family to rebuild their life

Dear friends and community members ,

I've never thought I would write something like this in my life, but here I am struggling to find the words that can describe the pain in our hearts.

About me :

I'm Rim Almadhoun ,Palestinian doctor from Gaza.

I‘ve been working in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department for 3 years in Almamadani hospital and kamal Odwan hospital. I have worked in various hospitals in North Gaza during the war, but when we were forced to evacuate and move to the south, I continued to volunteer in hospitals in southern Gaza to serve pregnant women and deliver babies. I also deliver many babies at home during times of siege and when the situation outside is unsafe.

I am creating this fundraiser to raise funds to evacuate my family out of Gaza to have a secure life.

This is our home before and after the war ;

I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters doctor Haneen and pharmacist Rola with their children ; Abood , Noor , Rezq and Roleen .

Tragically, we lost our father during the war on Gaza. He was our main source of income and the pillar of support for our education. My father was the only provider for our family.

My loss didn’t end here, because to us Gazans, death knocks our door every single day, every new day under war is a possibility of a new loss , in 26th Mar we lost 10 members of my family ( Dad’s family) in one second.

Furthermore our home was bombed , this is our home before and after North Gaza invasion .

My dear mother is enduring extremely difficult conditions in Gaza. She was displaced from her home in the north of Gaza to the south and is currently living without water, food, electricity, or internet , also she is suffering from health problems .

Now, we have no home or income as we lost our sources of income. We are under fire and bombardments as there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip. We have struggled to find access to food, water, and diapers for our children.

I am making every effort to get my family out of Gaza, but leaving requires coordination through the Rafah crossing, which involves a significant cost of around $5000 for each person without a foreign passport who wants to cross the border .

in these difficult and tragic circumstances, I humbly seek your compassion and support. Any amount you can give will be a big help and will go directly to our rescue. I really appreciate your kindness and support in this difficult time. If you cannot contribute I simply ask that you share their story in the hopes that it reaches enough people to save my family and help me to evacuate them out of the genocide in Gaza.
