Team Terry Svendsen Battling Cancer

As you probably heard, our dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 esophageal cancer. He will be receiving chemotherapy, radiation, and then an extremely difficult esophageal surgery. The medical bills are already mounting and will only get worse. In addition, these treatments will require our dad to miss a significant amount of work for most of this year. This financial challenge has been compounded by his recent divorce after over 40 years. Our concern is not just his short term financial situation, but his ability to ever stop working. It seems unfair to us that this would happen to him at such a young age, but it gives us hope that he is strong enough to get through this.
