Morgan’s Journey

On August 5th 2019 Morgan Maida was diagnosed with Leukemia. At 23 years old, she went from planning her dream wedding for December, to starting chemo 24 hours after being admitted to the hospital instead. The day before her diagnoses, she was awarded a raise and a promotion at her job that she had worked so hard for! No one could have ever dreamed that the leg cramp she went to the doctor for, would be the start of many intense rounds of chemo, blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, bone marrow testing and SO much more! The current extended hospital stay, in addition to the endless amounts of doctor visits and treatments that are to come, take a huge financial toll on her and her family! She won’t be able to go back to work for a minimum of 6 months to a year. Morgan also had to give up the apartment that she and her fiancé had recently moved into. She is an amazing woman, with the fighting strength she needs to beat this disease! Please share this page, and any amount that you can help with is more appreciated than you know!
