Ryan Calvi Memorial Fund

On Sunday, February 19th, 2023 our dear friend and fellow Red Fox, Ryan Calvi, suffered fatal injuries during an incident at Whiteface Mountain. Ryan passed away the following day at UVM medical center just one month after his 31st birthday, surrounded by his wife and family.

For those who knew Ryan, even briefly, you're fully aware of the unbridled joy that his presence effortlessly commanded.

For those of you who never had the good fortune of meeting Ryan, here's what you need to know about him:

• His big smile was a constant and comforting presence.

• He adored his family - especially his new wife, Erin. He was the most devoted son to Rocco and Tami Calvi, and brother to Abigail.

• His soft spot towards individuals with disabilities always served as an important reminder to be thoughtful and kind to people from all walks of life.

• He was a dedicated PE teacher at an elementary school in the Bronx.

• His generosity towards family, friends and total strangers never wavered.

• He was an integral part of the Marist College community, interweaving social circles across the class of 2014 and beyond.

• His selflessness was always on display.

Any funds raised here will be given to Ryan's parents and wife to spend as they deem most necessary, including helping to cover Ryan and Erin's new mortgage, medical bills from his hospital stay, memorial service costs, and donations to causes that meant the most to Ryan.
