Ryan, Crystal, and Zeus in Maui

My brother and my sister in law moved from Colorado to their dream home in Maui a year and a half ago.

On Tuesday, August 8th, they went back to their home to let out their beloved pup, Zeus. On their way home, they saw a long line of cars going the opposite direction of them. What started out as a little smoke within minutes turned into a nightmare. Thick black smoke covered the entire area. They were able to escape but saw the fire engulf Lahaina and discovered that their home and all their belongings were destroyed.

They left the high winds, heavy smoke, and fire to go to a friends house. They were then evacuated from that home and went to another place to stay for now.

Ryan and Crystal are the kind of people that would literally give the shirt off their backs. They have been helping the teens from their youth group financially, emotionally, and spiritually all while suffering themselves.

They will need to start from scratch again as their home and belongings have been burnt to the ground. If you are able, please donate what you can to this family as they begin to rebuild their lives.
