Ryan is a wonderful young man who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Ryan was born and raised in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. He is currently at UT Medical Center in Knoxville undergoing treatment and will be there for roughly 30 days. Not only is Ryan having to deal with his recent diagnosis, he is not allowed any visitors as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Ryan graduated Mt. Pisgah Christian Academy in 2013 and was an integral part of his high school basketball team. He played AAU basketball along with several of our local boys for many years. He played a key role in our Raiders basketball team’s success. Ryan is the epitome of a leader and role model for many others. His heart is that of a true Christian man.
Ryan currently works for Comcast and has been employed there for several years.
Not only is Ryan dealing with this terrible disease, just last year Jessica, his wife, was diagnosed with breast cancer and is now in remission. This was the second time Jessica has been diagnosed with breast cancer and the second time she has beaten this cancer. Ryan and Jessica have three children and have been married more than 2 years.
I can speak from personal experience that Ryan is an awesome young man and is going to defeat this disease.
As you can imagine, being married and with 3 children and not being able to see or visit his family that this is an even more difficult time for Ryan and Jessica. Ryan would be the last to ask for help, but I have been led to create this page and allow this community the opportunity to step forward and help Ryan’s family offset a portion of the expenses that they will inevitably incur.
Thank-you for your consideration.
All Ryan asks for are your prayers.
