Ryan Fugate fire loss

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Tom Fricke and I'm fundraising for Ryan Fugate.

As I’m sure many of you have heard, our dear friend Ryan Fugate’s art studio (Ryanfugatefineart.com) was one of the spaces entirely damaged by the arson fire at Winter Street Studios this past Tuesday morning. Ryan’s studio was adjacent to the unit that was set on fire and, in turn, sustained immeasurable damage, making it a total loss—this includes the over $100,000 in artwork, some already having been purchased and was being held for collectors, others on hold for a building project to be finished before being purchased; finished art pieces ready for market; and, of course, thousands of dollars in equipment, furniture, and art supplies. Unfortunately, there is no insurance to help cover these losses.

If you know Ryan, you know that, in his 20+ years of being an artist in the community, he has always stepped up to help others, offering his artwork for numerous fundraisers. Now, it’s our turn to help him. Although he will never fully recover all that has been lost, it would mean the world for his friends and fellow community members to help him get back on his feet. In this season of giving, please donate what you can—even the smallest amount can make a substantial difference.

With gratitude,
Friends of Ryan
