Ryan McKenna Memorial

I am Megan Book, and I have been a friend of the Hunter and Echter families and of Shawn McKenna for many years.  Kim Schmitz , Becky's sister, and aunt of Ryan McKenna is my best friend of 14 years. On Wednesday,  December 16th, 2020 Becky Echter and family got the call that any family, should never have to receive. Ryan had been in an accident, and they needed to come to Ames now.   The afternoon of Friday December 18th, Ryan tragically passed away from his injuries.  No one expected this outcome and we are all deeply saddened with the loss of Ryan so close to Christmas.  Its never easy to lose a loved one especially a child.  No amount is too small , in helping the family be able to bury Ryan.
