Ryan Murry

I am a chief inspector for the oil and gas industry, I was contacted by Natalie (Ryan’s wife) and was told Ryan was kicked by a bull 2 weeks ago. It got where he couldn’t walk and was having fever(s) over 104 before being taken to the Emergency room in San Antonio Tx. He has been at mission trails for 2 weeks, as of right now they are on a waiting list to go to BAMC (Brooke Army Medical Center) for skin graft surgery. I want to raise funds to help them get by while recovering. Ryan has been good to me and helped me break out as a welder and later as an inspector. It’s the least I can do for them.

“He just got out of surgery they did five incisions he has a wound vac on his leg they're doing pathology cultures blood he's not responding to antibiotics that's our real concern right now but if all goes well he will have another surgery on Wednesday”

I asked what caused this

“We have no earthly idea what he's done I have looked for bites I have looked for cuts I have looked for stings I have looked for thorns I have looked for everything you could possibly imagine but I got into the hospital pretty quick within about a 10-hour period because his temperature was 103 and 104 and it wasn't breaking”

After surgery this morning the doctor came in and told me that it's a form of the bacterial flesh eating disease. The doctor told us right now we're fighting to save his leg from being amputated

“Necrotizing fasciitis is a treatable disease. Only certain rare bacterial strains are able to cause necrotizing fasciitis, but these infections progress rapidly so the sooner one seeks medical care, the better the chances of survival.”
