Ryan O' Dwyer's Road To Recovery

Ryan O’Dwyer is a 38 yr old man from Ballyrichard, Carrick On Suir, Co Tipperary who was in the prime of his life working for An Post, a job he loved doing. Ryan is a very sociable, positive and easy going person. He was returning home from work on the 11th July 2022 when he was involved in a serious road traffic accident.

Ryan had to be airlifted to Cork University Hospital where he was put into an induced coma. He underwent two brain operations and has also suffered severe spinal injuries which unfortunately has left Ryan paralysed from the chest down.

Ryan has suffered life changing injuries and has a long testing road ahead of him. He will require rehabilitation therapy, medical treatment and will require support with his long term costs associated with his injuries.
