Ryan Orr and Family
Donation protected
My Dad is the type of man that would give the shirt off his back. He'd donate to a good cause without hesitation. He'd lend an ear if you needed it. He's the one I've always leaned on and can always count on. This man works his absolute hardest day in and day out for his family. He takes pride in his work, and has worked tirelessly for years to get to where he is now. He is also to prideful to ask for help when he needs it.
If you're not already aware, my Dad, Ryan, was in an accident in early July. He FINALLY got that hot tub he's talked about for years to top things off at his beautiful home. His beautiful home he built with his own two hands. He spent MONTHS of practically sleepless nights to get the job done. A home for not only his family, but friends alike. He'd go to work remodeling other people's homes, and then straight home to continue where he left off on his own. Day in and day out for months. Everything he does, everything he's built, and all the time he puts into that house, has been for everyone else other than himself.
Back to the hot tub. The day came to move said hot tub to its resting place, and in the blink of an eye, my dad ended up underneath the darn thing. He was air lifted to a hospital in Indianapolis, and is now home recovering from a broken femur and blood clots. This man just cannot catch a break.
He is not the type of person to sit in one place and do nothing, but as of right now he has no choice for several more weeks. That means their two person income is down to one, putting them at risk to lose everything they've worked so hard to build together. Years of hard work, sweat, and tears could potentially be lost. His home, his business, his livelihood. The thought of that is weighing very heavy on my dad and step mom. She has been a trooper through this, caring for him and carrying all the extra weight of day to day tasks.
That's why I've created this gofundme to ask for your help. Any little bit counts. These people are so deserving. I know times are hard for all of us, and this man has helped me financially more times than I can count, but every penny helps. His birthday is coming up August 17th and I'd love to be able to ease their financial burdens. Can you help me?
