Ryan Oswald Fire Fund
Donation protected
Our good friend Ryan Oswald and his girlfriend Jordan have lost their home and most of their possessions to the Almeda fire in Southern Oregon.
On Tuesday September 8th the Almeda fire swept North from Ashland through Phoenix, Oregon. The entire Southern Oregon community was on alert. As the fire grew in size and intensity Ryan, Jordan, Jordan's daughter, and Ryan's dog Gira evacuated their home in Phoenix and took shelter in a vineyard to escape the blaze. While seeking shelter for his household during fire, Ryan, a long time wild land firefighter, was in constant communication offering counsel and comfort to friends in the area.
I have known Ryan since I met his Dad Oz in the late '90's on my first trip to CatSki Mt Bailey. I have spent a lot of time on the mountain with Ryan and have always known I could count on him.
Whether keeping clients safe while guiding, or fighting fire himself, Ryan has spent years looking out for the people around him. Let's return the favor and look out for him.
Aside from a few personal items Ryan and Jordan lost all their possessions. They need funds to find a new place to live, to replace some of the things that can be replaced, and for the unforeseen expenses ahead.
All donations will go 100% toward Ryan and Jordan. If you would like to donate directly through Venmo Ryan's account is: @Ryan-Oswald-11
Thank you for your generosity!
