Ryan Rutherford Technical Theatre Scholarship

Hi, we are the parents of Ryan Rutherford. We are fundraising for the Ryan Rutherford Technical Theatre Scholarship.

Going into his Freshman year at Coppell High School, Ryan auditioned for Take One, the top-level theatre class. Much to his surprise, he made it! During that first year, he had the chance to run the light board for a show. He was hooked! He was either the lightboard operator or lighting designer for every show through his senior year.

The Coppell High Scholl Theatre has established the Ryan Rutherford Technical Theatre Scholarship. The recipient will be chosen by criteria established by the leadership of both the Coppell High School Theatre Department and the Booster Club. To remain IRS compliant, funds donated will be deposited into the Booster Club General Fund. From there, funds will be allocated to the scholarship and used to support other department needs.
