Ryan Strong Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Unfortunately, Ryan was involved in a serious paragliding accident in Salt Lake City on May 13th. With a broken back and fractured femur, he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He has already been through a surgery to fuse his spine and another to align the femur. In a few days he will be transported to Craig Hospital just South of Denver.

As I’m sure you all know, Ryan is one of the best humans around. He has the heart the size of a mountain and is always eager to “share the stoke” with everyone he meets. Whether it’s mentoring a new pilot, organizing get-togethers, or inspiring the rest of us with his pursuits, Ryan is a truly positive force in our front range community and everywhere else around the world that he visits.

The costs associated with missing work for an extended period of time, medical transport, and rehab are rising.

This is where we step in!

We are all eager to help Ryan return to health as quickly and completely as possible, and one of the most important challenges he needs to overcome is to ease the stress of making ends meet until he is able to (literally) get back on his feet and support himself again. We are aiming to chip in and help cover his expenses over the next several months so that he can make getting healthy be his full time job.

If you know Ryan, if he’s helped and inspired you in the past, or even if you’ve just heard legends of his exploits far and wide, please consider digging deep and helping Ryan get back to his normal rad self. With a bit of help, he’ll be back to sharing the stoke in no time!
