Ryan's PKD Journey/Road to Recovery

Husband and wife duo, Ryan and Heather Hammer, are not only a great match in life, but also in kidneys. Ryan was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease in 2001, a hard reality for a (then) 15 year old to face. Now, at 29, he is in need of a kidney transplant. His wife Heather, also 29, is a match. The surgery was scheduled for mid-September, but due to a drastic drop in kidney function that took him from 16% to below 10% in a matter of weeks, the surgery might need to be moved up in order to aviod dialysis (if possible). Your donation will help supplement the surgery, medicine, travel (for post-op visits), food, and housing expenses of this young family of four while Ryan and Heather recover.
