Ryan’s gaming 4 hospital
Please help and support Ryan in raising money to help provide a Xbox one TV set up for Birmingham children’s hospital.
As you may know Ryan has been in and out of hospital for the past 5 years. Over these years he has had access to toys, play specialist and a play centre to help distract and make his stay in hospital, like all the other poorly children here, more comfortable.
For the past week Ryan has been admitted to hospital. Due to the covid 19 pandemic, things have changed. The children can only have 1 visitor, which means Ryan hasn’t been able to see his dad, sister, nan, friends etc. The beds are spaced out so he and the other children are not really having any interaction with each other.
The play centres, toys and play specialist services are now no longer available, but luckily thehospital does have a couple of these amazing Xbox’s that the children can use. This has beena god send for Ryan, it’s been a welcomed distraction for him, he can watch YouTube and play games with his friends online and this has distracted him from his medical procedures and has passed the long days away for him. ( as I’m sure you would know it’s boring lying in bed all day and not being able to see your close friends or family for days on end)
Birmingham children’s hospital have a limited amount of these Xbox’s available and Ryan hasdecided that he would like to raise money to help other children have a more comfortable stay in hospital.
He is asking people if they can kindly donate some money so we can put the money towards one of these machines.
we know times are hard, but he really isn’t asking for much, just donate what you can. Whether that’s £1 or more he will be grateful for what ever amount you can donate.
