Ryan's medical bills and related expenses

Hi everyone. My name is Kevin Issler and one of my best friends, Ryan Willetts, suffered a massive heart attack on September 25th, 2023. I am raising funds to help Ryan cover the cost of his hospital stay. Ryan has been in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at The Christ Hospital since September 28th. Prior to being transferred to The Christ Hospital, he spend 4 days in the intensive care unit at Mercy West Hospital.

Each day Ryan has been in the CVICU at The Christ Hospital, he has had 2 nurses in his room at all times providing him the best possible care. One nurse is responsible for monitoring the ECMO machine which has kept him alive and the other making sure he received his medications and monitoring his vitals. Not to mention the countless number of doctors, PAs, STNAs, and the rest of the staff within the CVICU involved with his care.

Today Ryan received a LVAD which will do the work of his heart until he is approved to be on the transplant list. The LVAD is portable device which has been connected to his heart through an external motor.

Each dollar raised will be used to help Ryan coverage the enormous amount of medical bills and medical supplies he will need once he is discharged from the hospital. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated.
