RYC Summer Program for Bronx Kids

Donation protected
New York City has cancelled funding for most summer programs this year, so please help Renaissance Youth Center (RYC) give Bronx youth a safe and engaging place to be this summer.

Our immediate goal is to raise $100,000 to provide a summer program for 100 kids. The Broadcom Foundation  is generously matching every donation up to $50,000, so your donation has double the impact!

We will provide a safe place for kids to get the enrichment activities they need in music, STEM, arts, and outdoor activities, access to quality meals every day, and care packages to send home to their families to support them during this crisis.

At the request of New York City, we have been running a small after school program continuously during Covid-19, so we have experience and know how to run a program safely in these conditions.

We are hoping to raise more than our $100,000 goal so that we can set up additional summer sites at NYC schools or community centers and housing developments that we are connected with across the Bronx.

This fundraiser is supported by the Broadcom Foundation, and by NY State Assembly member Michael Blake and New York City Council member Vanessa Gibson, who are all joining with us in our effort to provide much needed summer programming for youth in the Bronx.

Every dollar you donate matters for our kids, and we appreciate you donating and sharing this page with your community. We can't do it without you!
