Rydel Cycling Little 500

Little 500 is the defining cultural phenomenon at Indiana University. As both students and competitors, we had an intense desire to participate. Despite this, the high barriers to entry held us back until now.

We have spent our own money on bikes with which to train, helmets, and necessary clothing. However, most teams competing are either associated with Greek life or established biking programs, both of whom have access to vast resources both financially and otherwise. In order to be competitive, we hope to purchase some of the same equipment so we can train on an equal playing field.

If you have any inclination toward donating, we really appreciate it. We would not be able to compete without you.

Additionally, if you have any of the equipment listed below that you’d be willing to give, lend, or rent to us, that would likewise be greatly appreciated.

Breakdown of Costs:
- $200 (x2) Little 500 Bikes
- $100 (x2) Little 500 Bike Assembly
- $100 Race Entrance Fee
- $100 (x3) Trainers
- $75 (x4) Rollers

If we exceed our goals, there are supplementals that would help us compete but aren’t absolutely necessary:
- $500 Smart Trainer
- $200-400 (x2) Upgrades to Little 500 Bikes
- Miscellaneous fees and bike repairs

Each level also includes all items from lesser levels. Videos will be sent to you ASAP, while photos, posters, and shirts will be sent closer to race day!

- Less than $10: A sincere thank you from us to you
- $10: Personalized thank you video from the boys
- $25: A team photo from the day of Quals (autographs by request)
- $35: Team poster (autographs by request)
- $50: Free Rydel Cycling T-Shirt (let us know your size)
- $100+ Special thanks or advertisement on the back of the shirt
