Ryder's Recovery

Ryder is a precious 4 year old boy . On October 30, 2020 my niece Destini took Ryder to the Dr to have his his eyes examined because of mild swelling. After a head CT scan was performed , Destini was given the devastating news that her baby boy had a extremely large brain tumor. Ryder required Life Flight that night to Loma Linda University Hospital for urgent Neurosurgery. On November 2, 2020 Ryder had life saving 7 hour brain surgery to remove the large tumor that his surgeon compares to the size of a tangerine. Ryder is currently recovering in the Pediatric ICU at Loma Linda . He is responding with smiles and a thumbs up gesture for yes or thumbs down for no. Ryder will require months of speech therapy to learn to speak again and physical therapy to be able to move his body. He will remain hospitalized during his journey. My niece Destini is a 25 year old strong single mother who is in need of funds to repair her vehicle and relocate from her rural home. She needs reliable transportation for travel to the numerous appointments and treatments in Ryder’s future. She will also need to move from her rental home in the rural Desert area to be closer to medical facilities for Ryder. Our family believes in the healing power of God and we know Ryder will overcome.
