Epilepsy service dog
Hi everyone, I’m Bre Upmeyer and struggle with epilepsy. I am raising money to get my dog trained to be a service dog. I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was in the 3rd grade and am now 22. I had a major seizure in August and have had smaller seizures everyday through out this last 4 weeks. That being said I have not been able to drive, work or even be out of the house. I have Tonic-clonic seizures which means my seizures are located all around my brain and not just one part so I have to be very strict on my medication and on a very strict schedule with almost everything. If you would like to learn more you can visit Epilepsy.com and they have a ton of information. I have previously broke a couple teeth having a seizure. My jaw and have had many more injuries. This service dog will change my life. And not only change it but save my life as well. My dog will give me so many more opportunities in life. I have needed to have a service dog for so long now and I’m finally making the move to get one and I could really use all the financial help I can get. My trainer only trains 3-4 dogs a year and Oakley was picked to be a candidate. I have got so very lucky to have the trainer I have. He is one of the best dog trainers in the country and I’m so blessed to be having my dog be trained by him. All donations will be going to his training and you can also donate to K9 Country Club in Spokane valley the address is 19223 E. Appleway Ave. 99016. Thank you guys so much.
