Rylan Baker came to the Gopher Soccer program as a highly touted multi sport athlete and battled through numerous challenges to become one of the most fun and impactful players on the team — helping to amplify the talents of others by being an unstoppable hold up and combination play presence.

Once his transition process progressed to a certain point, Rylan was no longer allowed by NCAA rules to participate in Gopher Soccer as a player, so he continued with the program off the field, helping support his teammates and coaches in a new role.

Now, Rylan’s transition journey has progressed to the point where he will be incurring substantial surgical costs — only some of which are covered by insurance. This is where you come in!

Rylan’s Gopher Soccer playing career was, unfortunately shorter than he or we would have hoped. But people like me that got to see him play can tell you what an absolute gift it was to see his impact on the field then.
