Hello everyone, Im Ryleigh Dixon. I’ve never been the type to ask for help, nor create a fundraiser, especially one for myself. However, on Friday, June 16th, I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure at the age of 27. It was definitely very rough news, not only for me, being a mom of two beautiful babies. But, to my family and friends as well. I am creating this fundraiser because due to certain circumstances, working isn’t really in the cards for me right now, as I’m newly dealing with this diagnosis, as well as all the new medicines they have put me on. Some of which make me extremely sick to my stomach, and some that make me just feel terrible. However, it’s what I have to do. I have to go to multiple dr appointments, between Wilmington and Chapel Hill in the next few months, which obviously leads to hotels and lots of gas for the traveling back and forth. Also, I live on my own and rent doesn’t pay itself. I am hoping that soon enough I can go back to work and be able to support myself again, unfortunately right now I can’t do so. So, I am reaching out and asking for some help. This money will be used for rent, bills, all of the traveling for appointments as well as the medicines that my insurance doesn’t cover. Because though insurance does help, it doesn’t cover it all, and some of these medicines are very expensive. Being a mom of 2 and going through something like this definitely isn’t easy. If you can donate that would be a blessing, and if you can’t, a quick prayer would be nice as well. I would like to take the time to thank everyone for simply readying my story.
