Ryleigh's Recovery Fund

Donation protected
This fund supports Ryleigh Neal and her brave parents, Allie and Trever, who are beginning the recovery process after an accident involving the family dog.

On Sunday evening, 3/20/22, the family dog of eight years attacked Ryleigh as she was crawling on the floor feet from parents. The dog tore Ryleigh’s cheek away from her face and gums and it was left hanging to her neck. An ambulance was taken to the local ER in Springfield but the medical staff advised that she’d receive better care at OHSU. An ambulance was driven up to Portland for emergency reparative surgery. After surgery and being discharged, Ryleigh had to be taken again up to OHSU and admitted for a potential infection and stayed a couple nights. She is now recovering with parents and family at home. The dog, who never showed any signs of aggression sadly will be euthanized. Please keep them in your thoughts as they navigate this tragedy.

This fund is in anticipation of multiple ambulance rides and medical bills for the emergency surgery and hospital visits. If by chance there is any surplus after bills are paid, they will be donated. Thank you so much for any positive/healing thoughts.
