Healing Paws: Rylie's Quest for Better Health

If you have not had the fortune to know sweet Rylie, let us introduce you to our spirited 2-year-old cat— Rylie is a lion looking fur baby who’s already stolen so many hearts (ours included). Just recently, he was diagnosed with diabetes, and his world (and ours) turned upside down. Rylie isn't just any cat; he’s the paw-spiration behind RYERCAT, a brand that has been pioneering in feline dental health. Yep, Rylie's not just cute; he’s a working cat too!

Life's thrown Rylie some curveballs, and we need your help to knock them out of the park.

Months back, Rylie started developing these troubling rashes and bumps. His committed moms visited half a dozen vets who initially gave an ill-advised steroid treatment. This ride didn't stop there. Despite seeing a cardiologist, dermatalogist, 22 vet visits since April 2023 and too many medical procedures, complications keep piling up—everything from ICU stays and insulin IVs to unstable ketone levels. It’s a lot for any family, both emotionally and financially.

If diabetes was not handful enough, he just got a recent allergy test that revealed Rylie's sensitivity to practically everything. The allergies and diabetes are like fire and gasoline, each exacerbating the other. And stress? Let's just say it's the unwelcome guest in this complicated health equation.

To add to all this chaos, the family has endured another emotional hurdle. Rylie's 6-year-old feline brother, Henry, a forever protector, recently passed away. This grief adds another layer of complexity to an already challenging situation. He is blessed he still has another brother left, Jasper.
