Rylie's Semester in Paris Fund

Hi, I'm Rylie, an incoming fourth year student at the Louisiana State University School of Architecture! For my three full years at the school, I have been saving up in hopes of making it to Paris for the semester-long study abroad program in the fall of my fourth year, where we will study European architecture up close and in person and work with students from around the world to create our own conclusions and projects relating to our observations. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I was so fortunate to be able to commit to with the help of many small travel scholarships I have been awarded over the last three years and a family loan. However, I am still pretty financially restricted for this trip. I would like to be able to travel around Europe during my time there, to hopefully get to experience the architecture of Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, etc.. that is just a train ride away from Paris. I will be working full time at an architecture firm over the summer, as well as on weekends with my painting job, to try to reach my goal of $5,000 in spending money for the four months I will live in Europe.
