Rynlie Trachea Surgery

Hi! My name is Sosha and I’m setting up this fund for my little niece, Rynlie. Rynlie was born with a congenital midline defect. Infants that are born with one congenital defect have a higher probability of having another within the midline region. Now at 2 years old, Rynlie being more mobile it became apparent that she was having difficulties breathing. After ENT evaluation they've determined that Rynlie also has a congenital condition known as Congenital Tracheal Stenosis. Her nurses and doctors said the size of Rynlie’s trachea is comparable to a newborns.

This is an extremely rare and life threatening condition that requires immediate attention and corrective surgery. Rynlie requires treatment in Cincinnati, OH at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital where there are specialists that can help her get the help she needs. Rynlie and her family now have to travel to Ohio and stay for while. All of the donations will be going to cover travel and medical expenses.

Rynlie can’t run around or play because her small trachea prevents her from getting the oxygen she needs. Forcing her to loose her breathe in a very dangerous way. Listening to her struggle to breathe is absolutely heartbreaking. Thankfully there is a specialist to fix it.

Update on Rynlie: She had a CT scan today 12/13 and we received news we weren't expecting. Her trachea is so narrow she's basically breathing through a pin hole. Her bronchial tubes are also narrow. How she's getting by the way she is? They /we don't know. She's a miracle. She'll need to have surgery within the next 4 weeks, 8 weeks tops. She'll be intubated for a week post op and then we will need to stay in Cincinnati for 4 weeks.

We're not sure how we're going to manage but we have to for Rynlie.
