The People’s Equity Project
Our mission at the People’s Equity Project is to promote equity and
empowerment for individuals and communities that have been impacted
by the war on drugs and other systemic injustices. We aim to address
the barriers to entry that have historically disenfranchised and
underserved these populations by bridging gaps in resources and
opportunities.
As advocates for equitable distribution of wealth from the cannabis
industry, we strive to create pathways for economic stability and self-
sufficiency through employment and entrepreneurship. We recognize
that access to transportation can be a significant barrier for individuals
seeking employment or pursuing other opportunities, so we prioritize
initiatives that increase mobility and access to essential resources.
Through art marketing and community engagement, we aim to uplift the
voices and perspectives of those who have historically been
marginalized, and to provide a platform for their creative expression. By
creating a network of community members who support and empower
each other, we seek to promote lasting change and a more just and
equitable society.
