FIRE DESTROYS HOME & SHADOWS OF THE PAST MUSEUM

Hi, My name is Michelle Wright and I am raising money for my dear friends Juanita, Reg and Byron.

Less than 48 hours ago, on July 29, 2023, around 3 am, their home in Fermeuse, Newfoundland, was destroyed by fire.

They lost their home and everything they had. Fire also destroyed their business, "Shadows of the Past," Newfoundland's only movie prop museum They have dedicated most of their lives, 40 plus years, to researching, collecting artifacts and antiques, and preserving Newfoundland’s history in this privately owned museum.

Byron heard an extremely loud bang, like an explosion, and then another and another. As he opened his bedroom door, he noticed black smoke coming from the back end of the long hallway. Directly across the hallway, adjacent to his bedroom, was the door to the kitchen and through the kitchen was Juanita and Reg's bedroom. Together now, Byron, Juanita and Reg fled back through the smoke-filled kitchen and down the other end of the hallway (smoke and flames coming up through the floors) and out the door. They barely escaped with their lives.

They desperately need our help. They lost everything.

They have absolutely nothing!!
