Hahn Family Fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nicole Akers and I have decided to set up this GoFundMe account to raise money for my sister-in-law Ashley Hahn & her family. Our six year old niece Lorelei Hahn, Ashley's daughter, just today was given the diagnosis of cancer. It's called Ewing Sarcoma, a primary bone cancer, and is in her lower abdomen. It's metastatic and has spread into her lungs as well. It's one of the worst cancers but the doctors still feel this was caught fairly early on
and is treatable with chemotherapy which she is starting tonight.
Lorelei is going to have a long road ahead of her with at least 36 weeks of chemotherapy treatment, possibly more depending on how well it works. Ashley & her family live in Hedgesville, WV which is a bit of a distance away from Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. Her & her husband both will have many days in the future driving up & down the road, extended stays in the hospital with Lorelei, as well as lost time at work, and medical expenses.
Please consider making a donation to help this loving family out. No amount is too small and all donations will be greatly appreciated. You may also contact me directly via Facebook for the addresses if you would like to send Lorelei a card while she is in the hospital or to send your donations directly to the family. Thank you.
Lorelei has God on her side and awesome doctors. Please continue to pray for her and the family as they have a long road ahead but they are fighters and in no way will this bring them down and especially not our sweet Lorelei.
