Bring Ben home

Last Saturday 14/3/20 in the early hours of the morning Ben (Stephen) Lord suffered a massive stroke and a bleed on his brain whilst on holiday in Lanzarote. He is in hospital in Arecife being cared for in intensive care. With the current dreadful situation worldwide his wife Lyn although in Lanzarote cannot see him very often as the whole island is in lockdown
As with all of these things Lyn just assumed that the insurance would cover all medical and repatriation  costs. They have just been informed that this is now not the case, the medical costs will be covered by his E111 but all costs regarding Lyn and Ben's repatriation will not be covered. 
This is unbelievable and obviously a real worry for all of Ben's family and friends. 
We as family and friends of Ben, have decided that the best way to help is to try to raise enough money to bring him home where he can be cared for in his home with family around him.
All donations no matter how much it is will be greatly appreciated and 100% of the money raised will be used for the sole purpose of getting them home
