Hi, My name is Kathy Boettcher and I’m Sheri Marshall/Boettcher's mom. I’ve watched her suffer for a year as her liver has slowly failed and could do absolutely nothing to help her. After hours of various treatments, doctors decided that a liver transplant was a last-ditch effort to save her life. However, that procedure came with a huge price—both physically and financially.

She is slowly recovering from a nine-hour liver transplant surgery and that recovery will take months. Now comes the monetary price for this lifesaving operation—and it’s huge.
