Chase's surgery costs!
Donation protected
Our friend Chase was recently in a motorcycle accident and is currently recovering at Kootenai Medical Center.
His injuries included an open tib-fib fracture to his left leg, shattered T5 and T6 vertebrae in his back, a bruised lung accompanied by a small pneumothorax (hole in the lung), a dislocated left elbow, and a broken left hand in multiple spots. He has already begun the many surgeries he will need to recover including multiple on his foot as well as on his hand and elbow.
Chase is a firefighter/EMT working at American Medical Response in Spokane, Washington and a volunteer at Worley Fire Protection District. He is planning on getting his Paramedic license and becoming a full-time firefighter/paramedic in North Idaho.
Chase's life has been put on pause. With major injuries to his left leg and his thorasic spine he will have to take a slow road to recovery. He will have to relearn how to walk and complete day to day tasks, as well as gather up enough strength to continue on with his life and career goals. As someone who loves to live life with an enthusiastic and energetic mindset, his family and friends know how tough this process will be for be for him. Any donations, messages of kindness, or prayers would be greatly appreciated to help Chase get back to where he was before this tragic event. Thank you to each and every person who has read Chase's story. Please stay safe and live life to the fullest, and keep our friend in your thoughts and prayers.
