Help Richard's Family with Funeral Costs

On September 3, 2024, my brother Richard Carlos, who was 24 years of age, lost his battle against leukemia cancer. Richard was so positive after being diagnosed with leukemia; he knew if there was treatment, there was HOPE. After going through chemo, the doctor gave him hope. He was checked for cancer and still shown a low percent of recovery; therefore, the doctor suggested a transplant. He was very happy knowing that the stem cell transplant was there and couldn’t wait to undergo the surgery. He said after surgery, he would recover and work hard so my dad could stop working and take care of my parents. He took the transplant thinking the most positive that he was coming back home to his wife and children. After the transplant, things started to get complicated, and his body started to shut down because the treatment he received was being rejected by his body. Soon, he was at the ICU, and he continued to fight for his life. His body continued to shut down, and soon after, our beloved Richard passed away. He leaves behind his wife and his one and two-year-old children. Aceptó el trasplante pensando que lo más positivo sería regresar a casa con su esposa e hijos. Después del trasplante, las cosas empezaron a complicarse y su cuerpo empezó a apagarse porque el tratamiento que recibió estaba siendo rechazado por su cuerpo. Pronto estuvo en la UCI y continuó luchando por su vida. Su cuerpo continuó apagándose y, poco después, nuestro amado Richard falleció. Deja atrás a su esposa y a sus hijos de uno y dos años.
