Stem Cells/Lung Disease

My name is Jerrica Rogers and I’m 30 years old. Last year in 2017, I became very ill and was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. My life went from being completely normal, to being not able to complete normal functions ( grocery shopping, playing with my 10 year old daughter, walking stairs and being in public places ect). I was misdiagnosed several times before finding out my lung disease has no cure. In June 2017, I had a lung biopsy and the results stated I had hypersensitivity pneumonitis. My lung capacity is at 28% and a normal lung functions at 85% or higher which mean I’m on oxygen daily. This disease has caused me to be in the hospital for several days each month. I’ve had several coughing episodes daily, which have caused my lungs to collapse repeatedly. Living with this illness, I have to manage taking care of my 10-year-old daughter as a single parent and unable to work my fulltime job.
I have a great support system and my mother is my backbone. She has given up her job and income in order to become my fulltime caregiver. I’m currently working with the Wisconsin Stem Cell Therapy Medical Clinic. Stem cell treatment is the best option for my disease. This therapy will reintroduce stem cells directly into the lower portion of my heart and it will go directly to my lungs. This is the only medical procedure that insures re-growth of new lung tissue, which will allow me to have a better life. I need help financing this treatment. No amount is too small. Please share this post and my story. I am forever grateful and thankful because I wouldn’t have made it this far without the help of my mom, daughter, few friends and most of all my faith in God.
