Beth Amato Foundation
Donation protected
Hi guys. We are raising money for my mom, Beth Amato who many of you know and love. If you don't know who she is, she is a mother of 3 and a loving wife, sister, and friend. She is the most selfless woman I know who would help any one in need. After retiring from the Pittsburgh Passion Women's professional football team after playing for 12 years she decided to take up running again. While training for the Pittsburgh Marathon, she was hit by a car while running along the road only 4 short months ago on April 15th. Despite all her strength and efforts to already be back to her self, we were just informed that the surgery on her broken jaw did not work and she'll have to have it broken and redone all over again. She also will have to have many teeth replaced which is an expensive procedure that isn't covered by most insurances. These surgeries will lay her up for longer than she would like which if you know her, is going to be torture. After surgeries and dental work, doctors say it will take at least two years for things to go back to the way they were. Any donations that you guys have would be greatly appreciated and it would mean the world to our family. We are also having a benefit for her along with this donation page on Sunday, September 13th at the Boyce Park Picnic Hut from 12p.m- 4p.m. It only costs $10 to come and have a fun time and enjoy great food and have a chance to win baskets and 3 Penguin Tickets & Parking Pass off the Daily Number. If you have any questions please call [phone redacted] or email [email redacted]. Anything helps, thank you all so much.
