Cory Johnson

Cory Johnson--beloved son, brother, friend, husband, father--died unexpectedly on Monday, October 9. He freely shared his warm smile, good humor, and genuine kindness with those he loved and those he just met. He was our gentle giant. Cory was raised working commercial fishing vessels in Kodiak, Alaska and later enjoyed working at Nike Headquarters near Beaverton, OR. Cory's main focus was always on his family -- wife, Jennifer, and sons, Riley (18) and Colin (15). He quite literally lived for them, supporting each of them with strength, wisdom, patience, love, humor and kindness.

Cory was a proud man but he would have wanted his family to be ok -- any donations would help provide support through this difficult time. A GoFundMe page has been opened for this purpose. Please don't feel pressured to give, but many of you have expressed a desire to help. We feel this would be a way to ease some of the burden for Jennifer and the boys in the days ahead.
