Help Sammy Fight Breast Cancer

Our beloved Sam, who is a friend to many, a sister, mother, daughter, co-worker and most recently, a grandma, was diagnosed with breast cancer in early July after a mammogram appointment. The last few weeks have been filled with tests, biopsies, scans and many doctor appointments. Trying to navigate and cope with this news as well as the unknown of waiting for labs and tests to come back has been extremely hard. As of now, they have diagnosed her as Stage 3 (HERS2), pending the results of additional scans.

We have set up this GoFundMe to help with upcoming medical expenses for her mastectomy, chemo and radiation treatments which will start in early August (next week)! While Sam is fighting for life, the last thing we want is for her and Derek to worry about the medical bills. Many have asked how to help and this would be a huge blessing - so they can focus on her treatment and getting healthy.
