My sweet friend and coworker Holly is a true warrior but needs some help. In the Spring/summer 2021 Holly starting to seeing ENT for loss of hearing in her left ear. The Specialist determined it was severe sinus infection and wanted to put tubes in. During this time Holly was also attending physical therapy for what doctors thought was a pinched sciatic nerve. On 10/05/21 Holly went to the Emergency Room for burning in both legs and the loss of feeling below the waist. The doctors were sure she had ruptured a disc in her back and ordered a CT and MRI. The test found two cancer masses. They informed Holly that it was cancer, that it had spread to bone, and that she was terminal. 10/06/21 it was determined that the doctors were partially wrong. It was cancer but Not terminal. Chemo was started immediately. From October to December She spent 80% of the time in the hospital. She kept hitting road blocks like COVID, infections with smart ports, bacterial and viral infections, anemia, starvation, dehydration…

They have two small kiddos. The price of everything has inflated, their monthly bills have increased, medical bills keep rolling in (insurance doesn’t pay for everything) and their paychecks have decreased. Holly is taking a loss in pay being on long term leave from work.

Nathan taking loss in pay by working less hours. He doesn’t get paid for days taken off to take Holly to appointments which can range from 1-3 times per week. If you feel you can help, I know they would appreciate it.
