Help Greg Recover After Double Hip Replacement

Hello everyone, I’m writing on behalf of my beautiful Greg.

Many of you are aware that Greg recently underwent a double hip replacement surgery to alleviate the pain he had been experiencing due to arthritic impingement in his hips, making it extremely difficult for him to walk. Greg was in excruciating pain, and he often would say that he was conscious of literally every step he took. This led us to feel that surgery was his only option.

Well, the surgery went very well and he is on the mend, but his healing process has taken much longer than we expected and the unanticipated bills are mounting.

We figured it was time to ask for some help from community.

Greg is currently unable to work and is still seeing physical and occupational therapists to get him back on his feet (literally), and as a result, finances have become difficult to manage. Between rent, his utilities, health insurance, and medical bills, the extra downtime has made things a little scary.

The timing has also been unfortunate because we just opened our new business, The Hollywood Lift, and it’s hard to get a new business off the ground when one half of its staff is healing from a major surgery and the other half is his full time caretaker!

Many of you have been friends and clients of Greg’s, and know what a good soul he is. Greg has always worked for himself and has never relied on anyone else to survive. This is very unlike him to ask for help. But considering how quick he has been to help others in need, I figured it was okay to spearhead some fundraising on his behalf this time, and in the process, teach him that it's okay to ask for help and experience the power of community.
