FIRED UP FOR AUNT FANNIES!

Last night at approximately 11 pm my husbands restaurant, Aunt Fannie’s in Belleview caught on fire. The damage was extensive. He opened this restaurant when he was 23 years old. He is now 62, and has owned and operated Aunt Fannie’s for nearly 39 years. He has given to others, now it’s time to give back to him! We must save Aunt Fannie’s!!! It is our livelihood, his life’s work, and a landmark in the community. I am trying to raise money for all who have been affected by this loss. I have given over $7500.00 to help our 18 employees. This money is from my personal checking account, not a business account. I am giving up my last 2 weeks salary so that we can ensure that our employees are taken care of. My husband and I have no money coming in because we have no food going out. We hired a Public Adjustor to represent our interest, so that the insurance company will have some accountability, still it’s been nearly 3 weeks and we have not received a penny from the insurance, but we’ve still had to pay our $1500 premium. It’s ironic. Almost crazy!!! We’re brainstorming ideas in an effort to continue our passion, serving others. We hope to secure a food truck or a local space that we can use as a temporary restaurant, until ours is restored. We need money to make money. Help us help ourselves and the community. Let’s see Aunt Fannie’s Rise again!!!
